We have you covered!  Living in the Maritimes everyone knows about the hit National Televsion series The Candy Show, that shows the rest of the world our Canadian Talented Musicians, Performers and our one and only funny woman, Stand up Comedian Candy Palmater – Creator/ Writer of The Candy Show.   Candy Palmater is a Halifax based Comedian that travels all over the country to sold out shows for her unique and dynamic style of Stand up comedy.  Each Episode Candy delivers killer sets, and attending the LIVE to tape Production is even better!  ( Some material cannot be on TV, if you get my drift)

It is no wonder The Candy Show has a Canadian Screen Nomination so early in the TV series career, and Candy Palmater has an East Coast Music Nomination for Media Person of the Year (ECMA).  This is a big love fest. NEW Episode of The Candy Show, Season 3 – Wednesday March 13 on APTN

Hello wonderful people.

Phew, it has been a crazy past couple weeks. Halifax just hosted the 25th year of the ECMA’s ( East Coast Music Awards), and Candy hosted the 3 Late Night Molson stages, plus the First Nation Showcase. Candy was nominated for an ECMA 2013, for Media Person of the Year, for her promotion of East Coast Music with her national Television show, The Candy Show.

Candy attended the Canadian Screen Awards ( Gemini’s), since The Candy Show was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for Best Direction.  Candy also was a part of the National Televised Indspire Awards, performing a killer comedy set and stealing the show.  the televised event will be on 2 Networks, and we will keep you all posted for the airing of this Awards Show.

This Wednesday March 13th, 2013 is another NEW Episode of Season 3 on APTN and APTN HD Channels.  For times: check your service provider for airing times in your time zone, 11PM EST/ 12 midnight AST.

The week of March 6-10th, 2013, is the 25th Annual East Coast Music Awards being held in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  Celebrating all the talent of various genres of music from all the Atlantic Provinces.

Candy Palmater has an ECMA Nomination for Best Media Person of the Year.  For her hard promotion of East Coast Music to the rest of the world, by supporting the East Coast Musicians in sharing them with the world with her hit National Variety Television Series on APTN, The Candy Show. What is Happening this week?

It is East Coast Music Awards week.  The ECMA’s are in Halifax, and it is a busy week for Candy.  Candy Palmater has been nominated for an ECMA – media person of the year, with her National television show, The Candy Show.  The Candy Show has a Canadian Screen (Gemini) Nomination for Season 2, for best direction.  This is a great year so far for the Canadian Aboriginal Comedian!
