Here we are another month down and more travels in sight for Candy Palmater. Currently Candy is grounded for a couple weeks at home in Toronto gearing up for events and projects for many months to come, going into 2018. June 2017 is in the next month with many events from coast to coast to coast in Canada.
First we look at what Candy is working on. Writing the National annual event for National Aboriginal Day on June 21st. Candy writes the entire 5 hour live broadcast and this year there are 16 hosts, 8 stages (cities) across the nation. Candy will be hosting the Halifax stage in addition to writing the live broadcast. The broadcast will be on APTN. (Aboriginal Peoples Television Network)
Candy will be taping The Debaters on June 20th in Halifax as well. This is taped in front of a live audience at the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium and will be aired on CBC radio one.
The many events and gigs Candy will be on tour for are for Corporate and Private events – BUT, if in the maritime provinces if you wanted to see Candy the APTN and CBC events open to the public. we have no other public events noted at this time. July 2017 Candy Palmater will be speaking at the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum), so maybe we will see you there.
Candy is busy with many writing projects: Live broadcast, Magazines, book projects and others we cannot speak publicly just yet. But hold on, the details will be released soon. Be sure to subscribe to the website for free updates.
Education is extremely important to Candy, and much of her travels across the country and nation she speaks to students, educators, Government, Management and more, speaking on various topics around the importance of education. Each week she teaches Native Studies course at Dalhousie University in Halifax for the TYP, Transition Year program. In all her speakings/ teachings and even her comedy, you can hear the clear message of education, love and being true to yourself.
Candy is one of kind. Her technique, style and use of solemn emotion creates a safe environment for learning and feeling, while empowering the participants to be the best we all can be in life.

Good morning everyone,
Sorry for the long delay in between the last post to this one. These past few months have been exceptionally busy and we are not complaining. Candy Palmater has been flying all over the country on a keynote speaking tour, and the month of November is not letting up. Candy’s flare for speaking to High Schools has her in Ontario this month traveling to many secondary schools in the Upper Grand District School Board, as well as delivering her important message at the Conference held in Guelph Ontario.
Candy was out west speaking at the Central Okanagan Teachers Association in Kelowna, BC for their Development Day, at the end of October 2013. Candy’s message is being heard far and wide. She has been as far away as New Zealand and as close as Nova Scotia High Schools, where she will be heading to Horton High School in early December.
Candy is no stranger to conferences. She will be at the Disabilities Conference in Sydney Cape Breton, as well as Education Conference in Guelph, Northern Women’s Conference in Toronto and the Equity Conference also in Toronto, over the next few weeks.Adding 2 speaking tours to the list in November and she is one busy woman. Spreading several, positive, uplifting, inspirational, and motivational messages in the unique style that is Candy.
POWERFUL MESSAGE: ( Pentecostal Minister APPROVED)
Weeks after Candy delivers her incredible talks, participants often will be emailing Candy telling her how she had helped them. Candy’s often being told that her message is healing. That she is a medicine woman, and a natural healer, by elders in the Communities, and this is her gift from the Creator. Candy is spreading Love everywhere she travels. Leaving her mark and an impression that will be embedded in everyone who listens. You can hear a pin drop when she speaks to a crowd of 500 students. You can hear the quietness of the synapse occurring in those who listens to Candy’s message, even touching those to a point, that tears stream down the cheeks. In the next story you will be laughing until your stomach is sore and cheeks are tired from exhaustive smiling. After one hour, you will feel like you have never felt before, sometimes a little lighter than you did 60 minutes before hearing Candy speak. But you walk around carrying yourself a little differently. You feel a change in attitude in life, and towards others around you.
One particular school Candy spoke to last year had a terrible bullying problem. Candy was called it to see what she could do. After delivering her message, many students did not want to let her go, and thanked her for speaking about the topics she did. We received a message later that day that the three bullies of the secondary school decided to turn themselves in to the Principal’s office, and even one cried. Everyone deserves a chance.
Skeptics have even had an undercover Pentecostal Ministers in the audience. Fearing that Candy may be speaking about messages that young people should not hear. At the end of Candy’s speech, once the line up of young people tapered down from receiving hugs, there was one man left in the lineup. He introduced himself as the Pentecostal Minister, and he was sent by concerned members of his church to listen in on what Candy Palmater was saying. He simply smiled and wondered what he was doing there. He told Candy that her message is powerful and her sermon is in line with his, Love and kindness. There was nothing bad about that. Candy’s message should be heard by everyone.

Good morning, Candy and (The Candy Show) fans -Today’s blog is written by me, Denise Tompkins, Candy’s Manager.
Today’s blog post is more about Candy, rather than her videos, and her life style YouTube Channel. I want to provide all of you with details of Candy Palmater’s talents. Many of you might only now her as a Professional stand up comedian, or maybe a National TV star, or just as an inspirational speaker. I want to introduce all of Candy’s talents to you. I would not be a good Manager if I didn’t, now would I? (*smile)
Candy Palmater’s number one, greatest talent is her ability to captivate audiences with her Key note speeches. She can make you weepy and laugh through the power of her words, and at the same time feel motivated or become active in your cause, business and education. Here are a few of many testimonials from clients Please read I have the pleasure of attending Candy’s key note speeches, and just when I think I have heard everything, wham, I am knocked off my feet with emotion once more. I feel fueled with my every day tasks and with my career, not to mention how I interact with people. Candy’s speeches help with self confidence, motivation with life in general but more importantly, how you move through life on your own path. Candy’s stay in school message brings her speaking to auditoriums in junior high and high schools across the country. Candy speaks to college and university students, educators, Principals, and vice principals. Everyone walks away with a heightened sense of importance that helps each person with their life journey. Once you hear Candy speak, you will never see the world the same again. I’d like to invite you to read About Candy
I believe the second greatest talent of Candy Palmater, and this is a very tight second, perhaps 1.5 rather than a 2, is her Stand up Comedy. There isn’t a single person alive today that delivers comedy the way Candy can deliver. I have searched and I am yet to find other like her, trust me. There are many awesome comedians performing their craft, and many utilize the “industry normal” or “industry standard” as I like to call it. I think this is great, and I think that stand up comedy is a true art form. You try getting up on a stage in front of 500 people, just you, and entertain for 1 hour solid. Bet you can’t do it, I know I would have a massive coronary if I even try stepping on a stage. There are many styles of stand up comedy, and many unique ways to deliver the funny to the audience. Candy Palmater’s comedy is unique, friggin hilarious, most often edgy, and educational. At the moment of delivery, the impact of a joke can make you laugh until you pee yourself ( I have witnessed many aftermaths after Candy has been on stage, and this has happened). But at 3 AM you wake up thinking about the underlying message in Candy’s material.
Candy’s comedy Shows are often Produced by her Manager, me, or she travels the country to large events, Corporate functions, private festivals, outdoor festivals, TV specials, and private functions. Catching a stand up comedy show is your city/ province or country is very limited, but that does not mean she won;t be there. Contact BOOKINGS and we will bring her to you. Candy has performed in front of an audience of 50 people, and as large as 12,000 people. There is no venue that is too large for Candy, “bigger the better”, Candy says. Candy receives emails, fan messages, new fan messages and social media tweets about her comedy shows, TV show ( The Candy Show – variety national Television series where Candy performs comedy), and her speaking all the time. I love to hear that her message is out there, people are listening and people are loving Candy’s vibe. Wikipedia – Candy Palmater
** Candy writes all her comedy material and her National TV show is 100% written/ created/ Co-Produced by Candy Palmater** Many comedians of her caliber, have co-writers, not Candy. ( This is unique in itself). Candy’s Comedy YouTube Channel
Thank you for supporting Candy Palmater. My goal was to boast about my client, and I hope my summary blog paid homage to a great Canadian Comedian, an awesome Canadian Entertainer, and a wonderful, intelligent, and kind person.
Please leave us your comments, we love to hear from you.
