We have you covered!  Living in the Maritimes everyone knows about the hit National Televsion series The Candy Show, that shows the rest of the world our Canadian Talented Musicians, Performers and our one and only funny woman, Stand up Comedian Candy Palmater – Creator/ Writer of The Candy Show.   Candy Palmater is a Halifax based Comedian that travels all over the country to sold out shows for her unique and dynamic style of Stand up comedy.  Each Episode Candy delivers killer sets, and attending the LIVE to tape Production is even better!  ( Some material cannot be on TV, if you get my drift)

It is no wonder The Candy Show has a Canadian Screen Nomination so early in the TV series career, and Candy Palmater has an East Coast Music Nomination for Media Person of the Year (ECMA).  This is a big love fest. Melding the ultimate Entertainment together for 7 nights of high energy Television Producing, with a killer jammed pack audience each night of filming, people talk about this event for months afterwards.  With 3 Seasons under Candy’s belt and now going into a 4th Season this April, with even more Episodes than ever, the line up of Guests is stellar!  So what are you doing this April in Halifax?

The Candy Show is filmed in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  You must be a minimum of 19 years. Production dates are: April 18, 19, 20, 24, 25, 26, 27Ticket costs: FREE + one non-perishable food item for Feed NS.

Here are a few pictures during rehearsal from the forks in Winnipeg June 22nd, for the big event June 23rd.  The National Televised event will draw many thousands of people to Winnipeg and Regina locations.  You can sit in the comfort of your own home and watch everything happening as it happens. Co- Hosted by Candy Palmater ( Canadian aboriginal host/ emcee), she will be interviewing the musicians on her set on stage in the big bed.

This Thursday night on APTN and APTN HD, Comedian Candy Palmater ( host), with special guests Scarlett Sparks ( Fire Performer) and Broken Ohms ( Metal band), will wow you at 9:30PM EST/ 10:30PM AT. The Candy Show swag is traveling the Globe. Travels of The Candy Show shirt was created by Candy Palmater but started with a friend that sent us her pictures of wearing the shirt at Lilith Fair and it just took off from there. The Candy Show shirt has been to Japan, England, Spain, Florida, and all around Europe, North America and has been underwater, which you will see in this photograph here. Season 2 taping in front of a LIVE studio audience went extremely well. The 3 nights of Taping in front of a SOLD out audience each night has been the talk about town for days now. The airing date for Season 2 is not determined yet, but do stay tuned for the fall 2011 time and date.
