The Candy Show Season 3, for Episode “Small Spaces, Familiar Faces” written/ Produced by Candy Palmater, and Directed by Multiple Award winning Director Trevor Grant, has been nominate for a Canadian Screen Award, 2014.  We will have to wait until March to hear who won. The Candy Show receives a Canadian Screen Award Nomination (Gemini)

Hello everyone,

Big News: The national Television Series, The Candy Show, has received a Nomination for Best Direction in a Variety or Sketch Comedy TV Series.  The Candy Show Season 3 will Premiere on February 20th, 2013.  The Canadian Screen Award Nomination is for Episode 1 of Season 2. Season 4 will be Produced/ filmed ( 13 Episodes), in front of a live studio audience in Halifax Nova Scotia in April 2013.  The line up Guests will be shared soon….. NEWS update for The Candy Show/ Candy Palmater

Hello you wonderful fans!

We apologize for not having many updates on this official Candy Show website and blog at the moment. We currently do not have a fixed address until June 1, when we move into our new place, when our office will be back up and running. We like to thank you for your patience. There is a lot of new swag that will be loaded up to the Candy Store page shortly after June 1, plus some changes are coming to our blog on the front of the website, with daily updates! Many upcoming ventures for Candy will be updated in the calendar, many exciting gigs, TV appearances and so on. We will ensure that you, the fans, will know everything that we know, so you are kept in the loop.

Thank you so much for your continued support… watch for our new subscription for the website as well, as Candy will be blogging: YouTube videos, rants, book reviews, shows, comedy and much more…

The Candy Show – Season 3 – National TV series

The NEW hit National Variety Television series just wrapped up the taping of Season 3 in Halifax. The Candy Show is taped in front of a LIVE studio audience, and features all East Coast Artists. Candy Palmater, the Star/Creator of the hit National TV series, will feature one musical guest and one performance from the East Coast in each episode. Combined with stand-up comedy from the Queen of Canadian comedy, you’ve got a great TV series! Candy’s dream of showcasing all East Coast Artists to the rest of the Country is a reality. Canadian Television – The Candy Show

New Candy PhotoNational Variety Canadian TV series is gearing up for Season 3 production in Halifax. Halifax stand-up comedian, is in full writing mode for her 3rd Season of The Candy Show, Season 2 can currently be watched on APTN on Thursday nights, and you can catch all of the episodes on line at APTN.CA

Each Episode consists of Comedy by Candy Palmater ( voted #1 Comedian by The Coast viewers), one musical guest and one performing artist. Each episode is jammed packed with fun , laughter and great times. To be a part of the LIVE studio audience please email: info@thecandyshow.com

Tickets are the price of one non-perishable food item for the local food bank, Feed Nova Scotia, for those who can donate.

Production dates: Wednesday April 18th- Saturday April 21st, 2012. 4 full nights of hot entertainment. You must be 19 years or older to be a part of the audience.( cash bar on site).
