NEWS for week of Nov. 26th- Dec.1st

What a week Candy has.  Tuesday is a filming day with APTN (Aboriginal People’s Television Network), where she is on National News “Laughing Drum” segment.  “Laughing Drum ” is segment where Aboriginal Comedians comment and speak about issues and topics that relate to Canadian politics and other agendas.  It is fun, thought provoking and sometimes silly, all depending on the topic of course.  You can check it out on Tuesday nights. For Candy’s own National Television series, The Candy Show, currently airing on Wednesday nights, the first 3 seasons, you can watch online or on TV.  Season 4 Premiere with brand NEW episodes will air this winter. (good thing you have subscribed to our website, so you do not miss the premiere).  Season 5 filming dates TBA for 2014.

Wednesday: Candy is a part of the International fundraising event, WeDay, coming to Atlantic Canada,  Candy Palmater is one of the celebrity speakers at this momentous event for young people, being held at Halifax Metro Centre. For details here is the website

Thursday: Candy hosts a benefit fundraiser for Scott Jones.  If you are 19+ you can come out and support this important cause.  For details about Scott Jones, click here.

Saturday: Candy Palmater hosts the huge Benefit for the Elsipogtog Mi’Kmaq Warriors on the Fracking issues in NB.  Elsipogtog benefit Concert This affects all Canadians, and of all ethnic cultures. This is held at the Marquee Ballroom on Gottingen Street in Halifax. Poster for benefit Nov.30MORE TV News to come…….

The following week Candy and I will be on the road for Comedy gigs over the maritime provinces.

December 4th is Candy’s Birthday!

Please watch to see who won.  Sorry to all of you who  did not win.  I wish I could make everyone a winner, but alas, there can only be one.  I appreciated each person’s favorite song. As a lover and supporter of Music, I found this part of the giveaway a learning experience, fun and a way to meet all you wonderful people that participated in this contest, plus this made me very happy.  For many of the songs/ artists I did not know, I took joy in searching the artists and music you have as your favorites. Now I am thinking of creating a playlist of the songs and sharing it with all my viewers.  I had so much fun with my first giveaway, I am looking forward to my next one!

NEWS update for The Candy Show/ Candy Palmater

Hello you wonderful fans!

We apologize for not having many updates on this official Candy Show website and blog at the moment. We currently do not have a fixed address until June 1, when we move into our new place, when our office will be back up and running. We like to thank you for your patience. There is a lot of new swag that will be loaded up to the Candy Store page shortly after June 1, plus some changes are coming to our blog on the front of the website, with daily updates! Many upcoming ventures for Candy will be updated in the calendar, many exciting gigs, TV appearances and so on. We will ensure that you, the fans, will know everything that we know, so you are kept in the loop.

Thank you so much for your continued support… watch for our new subscription for the website as well, as Candy will be blogging: YouTube videos, rants, book reviews, shows, comedy and much more…
