Good morning folks! Sorry for our long absence it has been quite the summer. After having moved from Halifax Nova Scotia to Toronto Ontario, we are still working hard to bring more Candy to you all across the nation and globe. Today and all this week, week two, Candy is guest hosting q on CBC radio, be sure to tune in for exciting interviews executed by Candy Palmater.

Hope your summer is safe, fun, and everything you want it to be so far.  We are gearing up to move to Toronto in two weeks from today, and we are in full swing of packing, working and Candy is flying to Toronto to perform Comedy at the PAN AM GAMES, how exciting. When she returns to Halifax, we will then drive to Ontario, Candy, me and our three little puppies. This week on The Candy Show, another new episode of Season 5, Candy will dance some flamenco with the incomparable Maria Osende of Halifax. Flamenco dancer extraordinaire. We hear the tunes of Aboriginal singer/song writer Tracy Bone and of course we always begin our episode with the hilarious comedy of Candy Palmater. TUESDAY FEBRUARY 24th, 2015 9:30PM EST on APTN and APTN HD Channels and this episode will repeat the following week, but 30 minutes earlier, along with another new episode – for one hour of pure Canadian Entertainment.   The Candy Show was created/ written/ Hosted by Executive Producer Candy Palmater and was filmed in front of a live studio audience in Halifax, NS.

The Candy Show Season 4, small part of the set where Candy interviews her Music guests. This is a replica of her high school bedroom, where she dreamed of having musicians hang with her and talk about music.

Candy Palmater has been very busy lately, working on many National Television projects that include: The Candy Show – National Variety Television series Created by and 100% written by, Candy Palmater. The Candy Show filmed it’s 4th season in Halifax spring 2013 at the Olympic Gardens, where we transform the large building into a giant filming studio. Seasons 1, 2 and 3 can currently be viewed every Wednesday night on APTN and APTN HD Channels. ( Check your service provider for exact airing times in your time zone). Season 4 is currently in Post Production, but be sure to subscribe to our website to not miss out on the FREE news updates.

Candy Palmater has acted on Call Me Fitz, Season 4, as Cholita, opposite Jason Priestly, for HBO Canada.

She has acted in Thom Fitzgerald’s NEW series Sex & Violence, Season 1, as Louella opposite Olympia Dukakis  for OUTtv.

Candy has a NEW role in Thom Fitgerald,s NEW series, Forgive Me, Season 1, as Agnes, for Super Channel. ( Currently filming)

Watch for another NEW National Television series, Created by Candy Palmater, and she has hired another know Canadian writer, Drew Hayden Taylor, to write with her, called Pink Indian.  Candy has a development deal with APTN, and is currently working away writing and developing her Pilot and a few episodes, hoping to begin filming in 2014.

NEWS update for The Candy Show/ Candy Palmater

Hello you wonderful fans!

We apologize for not having many updates on this official Candy Show website and blog at the moment. We currently do not have a fixed address until June 1, when we move into our new place, when our office will be back up and running. We like to thank you for your patience. There is a lot of new swag that will be loaded up to the Candy Store page shortly after June 1, plus some changes are coming to our blog on the front of the website, with daily updates! Many upcoming ventures for Candy will be updated in the calendar, many exciting gigs, TV appearances and so on. We will ensure that you, the fans, will know everything that we know, so you are kept in the loop.

Thank you so much for your continued support… watch for our new subscription for the website as well, as Candy will be blogging: YouTube videos, rants, book reviews, shows, comedy and much more…

For tickets to Season 2 Production, please email:  info@thecandyshow.com

*The tickets are complimentary- BUT Candy would love for each ticket holder to bring non-perishable food times to the night you are attending, for those who are able to help.  The food is for the Metro Food Bank, to help feed Nova Scotia.

Ticket list for each night is filling up fast!  The tickets will be ready for pick up in a week or two.  For those who have already emailed their ticket requests, Denise will be in touch with you to let you know when and where to pick up your tickets.
