Fall 2017 – Candy schedule

Happy early fall everyone.

Summer had been a wonderful, crazy busy time for Candy. In case you missed some of the action of new projects and upcoming projects here is a little recap:

  1. Candy signed a Book deal with Harper-Collins Canada – Candy is hard at work writing in her down time when not traveling for events/ gigs. Book is set to release Spring 2019.
  2. Candy is working on another APTN  series where she is Narrating 13 episodes  – titled Skindigenous.  Watch for the NEW TV series coming soon.
  3. PODCAST: Yes, Candy’s own podcast is in the works right now.  Set to launch winter 2017.  More details will come, so stay tuned to the website and subscribe to not miss out on the launch.

FALL 2017

The schedule is jammed packed with Candy traveling from one coast to the other this fall.  UNBC next week then to NFLD next month, with many other provinces in between.  Candy will be speaking with Peter Mansbridge on September 29th at Mount Allison University – Mansbridge Summit. The Candy Show won for BEST TV Series for the second year in a row at the Indigenous Music Awards held in Winnipeg.  Thank you to each and every one of you who voted from all over the globe, and for your love and support. We share this award with you…. but we will hold onto it in our office. Candy hosted the red carpet while her category was announced and the great Canadian icon ,Fred Penner, presented Candy with her award on the red carpet during her hosting. It was fantastic! I caught it all on vlog which will go up sometime next week when we get back from Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The Candy Show is Created, Produced, Written 100% all material and Co-executive produced…… hosted let’s not forget, by Candy Palmater. Candy had hired a team from ocean Entertainment in Halifax to help with production for the five seasons, under the name Fancy Shoes TV INC.

What is Happening this week?

It is East Coast Music Awards week.  The ECMA’s are in Halifax, and it is a busy week for Candy.  Candy Palmater has been nominated for an ECMA – media person of the year, with her National television show, The Candy Show.  The Candy Show has a Canadian Screen (Gemini) Nomination for Season 2, for best direction.  This is a great year so far for the Canadian Aboriginal Comedian!

Candy Palmater is hosting the 3 Molson late night stage Gala’s at the Delta Halifax.  For tickets to the show, go to the ECMA website.
