On Tuesday January 27th, 2015 a brand new episode of Season 5 of The Candy Show, national variety award winning Television series in Canada. The Candy Show showcases the best in Canadian Music, entertainment and art and comedy.  This includes many Juno Award winners, ECMA winners, APCMA winners, as well as international super stars.  9:30PM EST, or tune in for the previous week’s episode just before the new one, for a full hour of The Candy Show on APTN and APTN HD Channels.

This week coming we  have Halifax Poet Laureate El Jones, and you don;t want to miss this incredible piece titled “Pussy”.   This new fast paced electronic/ pop band will have you off your seat, Halifax based and soon to become nationally known, Neon Dreams.

The Candy Show is Created/ Written and hosted by Stand up Comedian, Candy Palmater – catch her stand up monologue off the top of each new exciting episode. Tune in Tuesday 9:30PM on APTN.

Season 3 Launch Party – hosted by Canadian Comedian, Candy Palmater

Last night was the Season 3 premiere of The Candy Show., on APTN and APTN HD channels.  Aboriginal Comedian hosts her own National Variety TV series with Musical guests, East Coast Artists and Performers….. and stand up comedy by the host, Candy Palmater.

To start the night off a big launch party was held at Michael’s bar & Grill on Young Street in Halifax, Nova Scotia. ( Halifax is where The Candy Show is filmed).   The night was filled of love, friends, family, press and fabulous fans.  Many Thank you’s go out to each and every person that came, for sharing this wonderful night with us.  A special big THANKS goes to the music artists that performed: Christine Campbell, Chris Martin and Like A Motorcycle. The Candy Show Season 3 Premiere TONIGHT – Canadian Comedian Candy Palmater

Tonight is the big night.  Aboriginal Comedian, Candy Palmater,  gears up for Season 3 with a Launch Party at Michael’s in Halifax.   Are you ready for another exciting Season with more Episodes?

Season 3 Premiere of the Hit and Award nominated National Variety TV Series, The Candy Show   on APTN and APTN HD Channels.  Featuring: Canadian Aboriginal Comedian Candy Palmater (Host), and the Music of International renowned Rap/ Hip Hop artists “Three Sheet”   and International renowned, Award winning Mi’Kmaq Drum group “Eastern Eagle”  

                   

The Candy Show is filmed in Halifax, by Fancy Shoes TV INC.  A partnership with Candy Palmater and Johanna Eliot of Ocean Entertainment.

The Candy Show receives a Canadian Screen Award Nomination (Gemini)

Hello everyone,

Big News: The national Television Series, The Candy Show, has received a Nomination for Best Direction in a Variety or Sketch Comedy TV Series.  The Candy Show Season 3 will Premiere on February 20th, 2013.  The Canadian Screen Award Nomination is for Episode 1 of Season 2. Season 4 will be Produced/ filmed ( 13 Episodes), in front of a live studio audience in Halifax Nova Scotia in April 2013.  The line up Guests will be shared soon….. 1. First: Use Chip skip by O.P.I.   Over this layer I used Ridge Filler also by O.P.I

2. Polishes: GREEN: 1st apply “Under the Mistletoe” by Julie, then over this layer, I used the color “NPG 163” by NYX girls.

 SILVER: 1st apply “220 Celeb City’ by Sally Hansen hard as nails Xtreme Wear, then over this layer I used “Crown Me Already” by O.P.I

3. Top Coat, I used Sech Vite
