Candy Palmater is a Canadian Icon, she is known in the Canadian scene as an all around Entertainer.  She is a stand up comedian, and TV Host of her own National Variety TV Show on the Aboriginal People Television Network, ( APTN), currently wrapping up filming her 4th Season, with 13 episodes. Candy has acted on Season 4 of Call Me Fitz before filming her own TV series, and has just been on set of Thom Fitzgerald’s new TV series, Sex and Violence for OUT TV.  With a week rest, she is off to Toronto for some work, meetings and Hosting a massive outdoor surprise!  While currently writing on a NEW Dramady series with a Development deal for APTN, called The Pink Indian.

Candy Palmater is an Actor, Comedian, TV Host, Event Host, Mistress of Ceremonies and she has an activist side as well.  She is a Gay rights activist, Aboriginal rights activist, Education activist with First nation Youth, and she delivers the most compelling Motivational and Inspiring Keynote speeches all across the country.  She can make you laugh and cry all in one speech, at the same time delivering powerful message of one love, inclusiveness and education.

TV Filming Season 4 in Halifax April – The Candy Show

Wow, the big Production dates are around the corner, literally.  This Thursday April 18th is the first of many nights of taping Season 4 of the hit national variety Television series, The Candy Show. If you want to attend one or all the tapings all you have to do is click the ticket button on the right of this page. Check out the Dynamic Guests Candy Palmater has  personally picked for 13 episodes of fun, laughs, music, and pure entertainment like no where else.  The Candy Show is the ONLY Canadian Television series to have one writer, WHAT!? Yes, One writer, Candy Palmater.  She is the Creator/ Writer and TV Host with it all. Candy is a Professional Stand up comedian that has quite the sense of humour. You will leave her shows with sore stomachs, achy facial muscles and quite often, burning nostrils….try not to drink any liquids while Candy is on stage. Once you email requesting tickets, your information sheet with door times, will be emailed directly to you.  We do not have the door times posted on the website. In order to receive this information you must be a ticket holder.

NEW Episode of The Candy Show, Season 3 – Wednesday March 13 on APTN

Hello wonderful people.

Phew, it has been a crazy past couple weeks. Halifax just hosted the 25th year of the ECMA’s ( East Coast Music Awards), and Candy hosted the 3 Late Night Molson stages, plus the First Nation Showcase. Candy was nominated for an ECMA 2013, for Media Person of the Year, for her promotion of East Coast Music with her national Television show, The Candy Show.

Candy attended the Canadian Screen Awards ( Gemini’s), since The Candy Show was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for Best Direction.  Candy also was a part of the National Televised Indspire Awards, performing a killer comedy set and stealing the show.  the televised event will be on 2 Networks, and we will keep you all posted for the airing of this Awards Show.
