Grand Marshal – Ottawa Capital Pride 2017

This August ,(August 21st to 27th, 2017), Ottawa Capital Pride week will happen. The Grand Marshal this year is Candy Palmater. There will be many events Candy will be attending throughout that week, plus delivering an empowering message at the vigil,  then ending the week with the pride parade, celebrating in the nations capital.

Solidarity, love and kindness Candy is honored to be this years Grand Marshal.   Candy and her wife Denise will be celebrating their 7 years of marriage during the week of events as well. Come out and show your love and support, be an ally,  and attend as many of the events this week of pride will host.  August 21st to August 27th, 2017.     One love.

She is in the air more than on the ground as of late, but when she is here she is Narrating a new Docu- series on CBC TV – True North Calling, or writing the entire LIVE National TV Broadcast for Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) AbDay LIVE 2017 – 7 stages set out across the country, PLUS Candy will be your host for the Halifax Stage this year – June 21st, 2017 for National Aboriginal Day!

International Womens Day is fast approaching and she is booked solid for this one day. First she is in Peterborough in the morning, then we head to Burlington for the evening event – both keynote speaking events.  Before March 8th, Candy will be in Ottawa on March 4th for the New Sun Conference performing some comedy – maybe we will see you there! See a couple posters clients have drawn up. Candy Palmater is your 2015 Host for the Read Carpet extravaganza event in Winnipeg, at the Indigenous Music Awards, televised LIVE on APTN. The big night is Friday September 11th, 2015, and Candy’s National award winning Television series, The Candy Show, is nominated for BEST TV SERIES this year.  Candy will also be a presenter for one of the awards during the night as well.

Be sure to tune in and watch your favorite artists get interviewed by  Candy on the red carpet!

TV Filming Season 4 in Halifax April – The Candy Show

Wow, the big Production dates are around the corner, literally.  This Thursday April 18th is the first of many nights of taping Season 4 of the hit national variety Television series, The Candy Show. If you want to attend one or all the tapings all you have to do is click the ticket button on the right of this page. Check out the Dynamic Guests Candy Palmater has  personally picked for 13 episodes of fun, laughs, music, and pure entertainment like no where else.  The Candy Show is the ONLY Canadian Television series to have one writer, WHAT!? Yes, One writer, Candy Palmater.  She is the Creator/ Writer and TV Host with it all. Candy is a Professional Stand up comedian that has quite the sense of humour. You will leave her shows with sore stomachs, achy facial muscles and quite often, burning nostrils….try not to drink any liquids while Candy is on stage. Get your tickets, be a part of the experience here in Halifax, and it is FREE, FREE, FREE – you must be 19 years + as the studio is a licensed venue. Please go to this page here to see the guest line up for Season 4 filming.  Please do not leave a message on our office line, but DO email us for tickets.  We are on set now, and will not be booking tickets over the phone. Once you email requesting tickets, your information sheet with door times, will be emailed directly to you.  We do not have the door times posted on the website. In order to receive this information you must be a ticket holder.

Please email for tickets ONLY. Do not call. Due to a positively overwhelming request for tickets to The Candy Show Season 4 filming, we appreciate all ticket requests are done via email. Thank you so much for all of you for your continued support.

Season 1 is currently on TV and on line at APTN.CA, and you can find partial episodes on You Tube. The Candy Show is a variety show, Created/ Written By and Starring Candy Palmater. Each Episode features music, performing artist and comedy by Candy. The Candy Show is Produced by Fancy Shoes TV INC. Which consists of Candy Palmater and Johanna Eliot of Ocean Entertainment. Candy’s crew is the best in the business and together everyone creates a vibe that is second to none. The TV Show is filmed in front of a LIVE studio audience at the Olympic Centre on Hunter Street in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
