Yesterday I blogged about Candy Palmater in her role as an International speaker. Today is about Candy in the capacity that many of you know her best. The role of Entertainment. Candy Palmater has been making us laugh, making us cry, making us exhausted as we saunter home from a show we lay witness to, and feel like we had been made love to by Candy’s wit, charm and unique style of comedy. She is more of a comedic story teller. Candy does deliver impromptu one liners when we least expect them, and she certainly lays everything on the stage for her audience. Candy’s innate ability is evident. Her humble and charming personality is no match for her on stage candour and honesty about topics that range from “what we are not to speak about in public” to politics. Breaking the barriers and pushing the comfortable envelope are her specialties.
Stand Up comedy styles
Unlike many other comedians, Candy has Two types of Comedy routines: 1. Corporate comedy, above the belt style for corporate functions, companies, Television Galas, Awards Show and many functions that like to keep things light , and number 2. Candy’s standard comedy – she pushes the envelope on topics that make people squirm in their seats. And let’s face it, most of us love to feel uncomfortable, breaking away form norm and social rights, this is why we love Stand up comedians, right? Candy utilizes her life experiences, her intelligence and her brashness to create the material we see on stage. No one gets hurt, and no one gets picked on in her shows. It is all in good fun, extremely entertaining and everyone loves to laugh until they have to pee. Candy is your huckleberry. 19 +.
